Statistics show that burnout is increasing among healthcare workers. What are the causes? This workshop will focus on identifying burnout in self and others and planning personal strategies to develop resilience.

Dr. David Levy is a neurosurgeon who attended Medical School at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, obtained Neurosurgical Training at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona and a Fellowship in Endovascular Neurosurgery at the University of Vienna, Austria. Dr. Levy has published numerous scientific articles on neurosurgical topics. The book Gray Matter: a neurosurgeon discovers the power of prayer…one patient at a time, published by Tyndale House in 2011, details the dramatic intersection of medicine and faith, and the power of forgiveness. The book has been translated into French, Russian and Romanian. Dr. Levy has performed neurosurgery in Europe, India, Kenya and The Congo and has spoken internationally on topics of neurosurgery, neuroscience and faith. He was appointed Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at University of California, San Diego from 2013 – 2017. After practicing neurosurgery for more than 20 years, he transitioned in 2017 to pursue his growing passion––communicating spiritual truth. He speaks on topics of neuroscience and presents God’s wisdom as pertinent and powerful today
