Transactional Analysis Conference November 2024—Wellington

Join us in Wellington and be part of a transformative experience that bridges cultures and disciplines. At this international conference, we invite you to focus with us on whanaungatanga (relationships) and what happens when they are disrupted. Local and international speakers will lead us in an exploration of how transactional analysis can be used to help us build and maintain crucial relationships.

The conference will be preceded by an introductory TA101 course (see details below) which will have a strong bicultural perspective (19th–20th November) and TA exams (also on 19th & 20th November).

Early bird pricing applies until 15 July: $525NZD for TAAANZ members and $575NZD for non-members. APANZ student members can get a discount to the conference on request to the conference organisers (contact details can be found by following the link below to the TAAANZ website).

Transactional Analysis with Te Ao Maori World View: TA101

Wellington – Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th November 2024

IKo te pai o ta tatou whakawhitiwhiti korero, ehara i te mea ko te pai o te korero engari ko te pai o te mohio ki a tatou. How well we communicate is not determined by how well we say things but how well we are understood.
This TA101 will cover and discuss the Transactional Analysis (TA) concepts in combination with a Te Ao Māori world view. The TA101 offers insights into understanding yourself and others in a two day professional development course. TA is one of the most accessible theories of modern psychology that examines a person’s relationships and interactions. It is a theory of human development, personality and communication. Offered is a powerful set of tools that can have an enormous impact on your personal and professional interactions, communication, relationships and life.
The TA101 course will be particularly useful to you if you work in the helping professions, or in management, communications or teaching. It will also be helpful to you if you are interested in understanding more fully your own behaviour and your relationships with others.
Attendees will receive a TA101 Certificate that is internationally recognised. It is also accredited as continuing coach education (CCE) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
