About Clinic 77
Clinic 77 is a private residential alcohol and drug recovery service based in South Auckland, Drury (5 minutes from the motorway). Our team is dedicated to walking alongside individuals and their families who are facing trauma, mental health challenges, substance use and addiction.
We take a holistic, evidence-based approach grounded in bio-psycho-social-spiritual frameworks, developmental and attachment theory, and the principles of a therapeutic community (TC). Our mission is to see people truly restored to themselves, their whanau and their purpose.
THE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
1: AOD Clinical Staff (Virtual and Onsite)
- Permanent 40 hours per week onsite or part time virtual work cover.
- Those in full time study will be considered, with pay. (Negotiable hours may be considered)
We are seeking qualified AOD clinical staff who are confident working in both residential and outpatient settings, passionate about multidisciplinary practice, and able to provide therapeutic support to clients and their whānau.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive AOD assessments, screenings and risk evaluations
- Develop supportive, rapport with boundaries in therapeutic relationshipsConduct comprehensive AOD assessments, screenings and risk evaluations
- Provide individual case management (outpatient and inpatient)
- Work within a Therapeutic Community (TC) psychotherapeutic environment
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans and collaborate with MDT for case reviews
- Facilitate groups and contribute to the therapeutic programme
- Work in partnership with community and clinical stakeholders
- Apply 12 Step knowledge and other relevant AOD therapeutic models within treatment
- Opportunity for supervision and operational management role development or available position with the right skill level.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Relevant qualifications and professional regulation if applicable
2. Understanding of professional and ethical frameworks
3. Experience in community-based and/or residential AOD work. Training with virtual treatment is available if needed.
4. Knowledge of holistic health and wellness models as we are a multidisciplinary team
5. Confidence in basic computer skills
6. Commitment to ongoing development, supervision and reflective practice
7. NZ residency or valid work permit
8. Ability to pass a Police Vetting check
9. Full NZ driver’s licence required for daytime peer support workers
