The University of Otago, Wellington is offering Australasia’s first university-based postgraduate training in EMDR Therapy. This comprehensive course covers the full EMDR Basic Training with some expansion of key topics. It is designed for Aotearoa New Zealand’s unique culture and provides a great opportunity for mental health professionals to upskill in this important area.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is one of only two therapeutic interventions recommended by the World Health Organisation for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and is increasingly also used for the treatment of other trauma-based disorders.
