AHANZ is working on a submission for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2026-2036 and would like to invite members to contribute any specific insights and messages you would like included in the AHANZ submission. We would welcome your contributions, please provide by 5pm Sunday 17 May.
Information on the process from the Ministry follow;
The draft Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2026–2036, will set the direction for how mental health and wellbeing are supported in New Zealand Aotearoa over the next ten years. The Ministry of Health is inviting feedback from people with lived and living experience, families, whānau, communities, providers, and organisations on what’s working, what’s missing, and what should be prioritised. Consultation is open until 18 May, and people can take part in different ways, including online or with support. To read the draft strategy, access plain language resources, and find out how to have your say, visit health.govt.nz/mhws-consultation.
Make sure to have your say!
