The Diploma in Dance Movement Therapy is a two-year part-time training programme available online or in-person (Auckland, NZ).
Our training emphasises practical and experiential learning. This is supported by a solid theoretical base utilising current DMT practices and tools to develop embodied skills and understanding. The content is delivered by local and international trainers who are experts in the field.
Year One includes six modules which include seminars, supervision tutorials, placements, and assignments. In Year Two, students attend monthly online seminars with experienced DMT Clinicians (plus a four-day intensive in Auckland).
