Annual General Meetings of our Association occur in June each year. Election of office holders, changes to our constitution and other important matters are decided at these meetings. The NZAP Constitution contains principles, objects and rules of NZAP and the Standing Orders, established by our usual customs, provide further guidelines to the running of meetings. The
standing orders (PDF 176 KB) are a help to members wanting to advocate for changes to the policies and procedures of the organisation, or wanting to stand for election. Members may also find the following ‘Robert’s Rules’ documents helpful in learning how to negotiate these types of meetings:
Robert’s Rules of Order (PDF) and
Robert’s Rules Simplified (PDF).
Members’ participation in the democratic life of NZAP is crucial to the healthy functioning and development of our Association.
Papers from the last two years are listed on the website. If you need to access older documents, please contact the Administrator.
